Like Unto the Glory of God

Ezekiel 1:27-28 Revelation 1:12-18 15:2,
John 20:24-29

Dear Jesus, let me see You now in all Your glory.
I want to see the brilliance that is like amber, like fire,
radiating from Your waist up and down,
and giving a brilliant light all around.
Let your encircling light radiate like a rainbow
through the clouds on a rainy day.
Let me see Your head and hair,
white like wool, like snow.
I want to see Your feet that trod
the roads of Galilee
now like burnished bronze
walking on
the sea of glass and fire.
I want to see Your hands I nailed
to a cross on Golgotha.
The right holding onto seven stars
and both bearing scars,
the wounds that set me free.
I want to see Your eyes
like a flame of fire
piercing through the darkness.
And hear your voice rushing down
like the sound of many waters.
Lord, I love You with all my heart and soul,
and all my might.
Now let me see the sight
that is like unto the
Glory of God.

My Prayer Request

Oh Lord my God
I know you hear my plea.
With all my heart and soul
I ask of Thee
Strengthen what is mine to give
And let Thy light shine through.
Teaching me the way to live
And all that I should do.
Let me walk in a narrow path
Always led by you,
Knowing that my life shall last,
Believing what is true.

You Are Dawn

You are Dawn.
You are the first
Appearance of daylight
In the morning.
You are Dawn.
You broke over the valley today,
Awakening us
To all that surrounds us.
You are Dawn.
You are the beginning of daylight
Set upon a hill
Where all can see you
Dispelling the darkness of Night.
You are Dawn,
Stretching your arms to
Embrace the world
As the Son rises.
This is who you are,
Dawn.
